Pub Gold Battery and Mines, this might sound boring, but i assure you it is far from boring, if you are interested in fossicing for gold and looking around the old mine sites, there is a large open cut mine that is most interesting if you can get one of the locals to show you around.
The battery is where the Miners would Crush there gold-baring Ore, it is now a tourist destination run by Elaine Taylor, I have known her for about twenty five years, a remarkable Lady,
Talking to her last week she said it is Wild Flowers season and the country is covered in wild flowers, for those who dont know what wild flowers are , flowers grow naturally, at a particular time of the year, some feel like paper, i have seen them so thick you can not see the ground.
